Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up?

To register for camp, you must complete Quest Registration online and provide Proof of Identity (copy of birth certificate or passport), Medical Form (same form that is kept on file at school) and Pool Waiver, along with registration fee and deposit to the church or camp office.  You will receive a confirmation email once your registration is processed.

How old do kids have to be to attend camp?

To attend camp, kids must be old enough to enter kindergarten in the fall.  Children are eligible to attend through the summer following 5th grade.  During the day, kids will be broken into smaller groups with a narrower age range for many activities.

How does drop off and pick up work?

Kids are signed in at drop-off at the Quest entrance by parent/legal guardian/other authorized individual, noting the time of drop-off to the left of the child’s name on the Daily Attendance List.  Kids are signed out at pick-up at the Quest entrance by parent/legal guardian/other authorized individual who signs to the right on the Daily Attendance List.

What about food?  What if my child has allergies?

Kids should bring their own lunches and 2 snacks from home each day.  Remember when packing your child’s food that we are a nut free facility! Because many children we serve have allergies, we will avoid common allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, etc.)  in any cooking projects we do at camp.

QUEST @ ShalomIs there a dress code?

Yes!  Kids should dress in modest, comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the activities in which s/he will engage each day.  Closed-toed shoes are required at all times (flip-flops or swim shoes are acceptable for pool trips).  On pool days, girls are asked to wear bathing suits that do not expose any midriff, boys should wear swimming trunks.  On field trip days, all kids must wear their QUEST t-shirts.

Can I know how my child is doing during the day?

You may reach out to the QUEST director at any time during the day to check on your child.

Will there be additional fees or paperwork?

All fees are included in the registration fee and payment for each week.  The only additional paperwork that may be required is permission slips for the pool (good for the entire summer) and some of the weekly field trips.

Can I get a refund?

Registration fees are non-refundable.  Registration deposits are refundable up to two weeks before the start of a camp week.
